When you choose to buy a Generation Green™ Carbon Offset product, Bendigo Bank makes arrangements to revegetate cleared land with native species on your behalf to offset the carbon dioxide you produce over time.
This vegetation absorbs the equivalent amount of greenhouse emissions you’ve chosen to offset. Put simply, it’s a simple and practical way to reduce your personal impact on the environment.
With a Generation Green™ Carbon Offset Certificate, you can still drive your car and use your existing electrical appliances when you need to and know you are reducing their impact on the environment. Choose how much carbon dioxide you wish to offset:

Do you know what your greenhouse gas emissions are?
Use the Australian Greenhouse Office calculator to determine the amount of greenhouse gases your household and car are contributing to the environment.
All Generation Green™ vegetation is made up of pre-1750 species (the kind of trees and plants that existed in Australia prior to European settlement).
By replanting these species, we’re not just removing carbon dioxide from the air, we’re working to return the landscape to its original state. This improves biodiversity, enhances water quality and combats salinity.
You can also drop into your nearest Bendigo Bank branch or call 1300 304 541 from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (Victorian time) to have an application form sent to you.
Alternatively, download and complete the application form below and return it to Generation Green™ (instructions are provided on the form).
Generation Green™ Carbon Offsets make a perfect gift for someone who has everything.
If you choose to make a gift of carbon offsets, the recipient will receive a Generation Green™ Carbon Offset Certificate from Community Energy Australia and an explanation of how they work.
