What are Income & Mortgage funds?

Income and mortgage funds aim to provide investors with regular and stable income together with capital stability. Mortgage funds achieve this by investing in a range of first registered mortgages and residential mortgage-backed securities. These investments are supplemented by appropriately rated cash and short term investments including short-dated authorised deposit taking institution (ADI) backed securities and fixed income securities and cash deposits. Alternatively Income funds will predominately invest in a diversified portfolio of fxed interest securities.
